What is Kultee Memory?
Kultee Memory is a powerful realtime shared context that AI tools can instantly access. Capture thoughts, store versioned plans and docs, and keep durable context across the tools you already use.
How does MCP work?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI tools access external data. Claude Desktop connects with OAuth, while manual MCP clients like Codex can use a Kultee API key. Once connected, clients can read and update your Kultee context on your behalf.
Is my data private?
Yes. Your thought text and versioned artifact content are encrypted at rest with a unique key derived for each user. All data is encrypted in transit via TLS.
What are versioned artifacts?
Versioned artifacts are documents or plans that keep their history. Reverting creates a new current version from an older one, so you can recover the right context without erasing the audit trail. This means you or your agents can look back at how a plan evolved over time instead of just seeing the latest snapshot.
What AI tools are supported?
Any tool that supports the MCP protocol — currently Claude Desktop, Cursor, and others. The list is growing rapidly as MCP adoption increases.

Personal accounts connect their own OpenAI API key from account settings. Pro and Enterprise users don't need to worry about keys, we got you covered.
